Supported languages

searches existing Unicode text in any language when the PDF contains correct text mappings. It does not translate or run OCR. Matching ignores case, normalizes Unicode and collapses whitespace; spelling and accents must otherwise match.

How to use split pdf by text

  1. 1. Open a text-containing PDF

Choose a document with selectable text. For scanned invoices or letters, run OCR first.

  2. 2. Enter a boundary phrase

Enter the literal phrase that identifies the first page of each part. Matching ignores case and collapses whitespace.

  3. 3. Download all parts

Select Process PDF and download the ZIP. Each matching page starts a part; earlier pages are kept and no pages are discarded.

What this tool preserves

Matches literal text without case sensitivity. Pages before the first match are kept. Scans need OCR first.

Privacy and practical limits

Files stay on your device. Each input must be under 150 MB. Processing speed and memory use depend on your device. Keep original documents; PDF transformations do not preserve digital-signature validity.

Questions & answers

Which page starts the next PDF?

Each matching page starts a new part. Pages before the first match are kept in a separate first part. If a phrase occurs on consecutive pages, each starts a part.

Is the search case-sensitive?

No. Matching ignores letter case, normalizes Unicode and collapses whitespace. Other spelling and accent differences still matter.

Can it split invoices that are scanned images?

The pages need extractable text. Run OCR first, then enter a phrase that marks the beginning of each invoice.

Which languages are supported?

Language support: searches existing Unicode text in any language when the PDF contains correct text mappings. It does not translate or run OCR. Matching ignores case, normalizes Unicode and collapses whitespace; spelling and accents must otherwise match.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every Feemag tool is free, with no sign-up, no watermarks added by us and no daily limits.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your files are processed by your own browser on your device and never uploaded to a server. Processing speed depends on your device and file size.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes: in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox) on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and Linux.
