documents may contain any language. Splitting uses page boundaries and measured file sizes; it does not read or translate text.

How to use split pdf by size

  1. 1. Choose a PDF

Open a PDF with up to 500 pages. This tool divides documents without cutting individual pages.

  2. 2. Enter the maximum part size

Set a limit between 0.01 and 150 MB. One MB here is 1,048,576 bytes; leave a margin for portals using decimal units.

  3. 3. Download measured parts

Select Process PDF. Each accepted part is measured after export. If one page is too large, compress the source or raise the limit.

What this tool preserves

If a single page exceeds the limit, the tool asks you to increase it or compress first. Up to 500 pages per run.

Privacy and practical limits

Files stay on your device. Each input must be under 150 MB. Processing speed and memory use depend on your device. Keep original documents; PDF transformations do not preserve digital-signature validity.

Questions & answers

Is every output file below the selected size limit?

Yes. Each part is serialized and measured before it is accepted. If one page alone cannot fit, the operation reports that page instead of claiming success.

What if a single page exceeds the limit?

Increase the limit or compress the PDF first. This tool splits between pages and does not cut a page into pieces or reduce image quality.

How is MB measured?

One MB is 1,048,576 bytes here. If an upload form uses decimal megabytes, choose a slightly smaller target. The ZIP size can exceed the individual-part limit.

Which languages are supported?

Language support: documents may contain any language. Splitting uses page boundaries and measured file sizes; it does not read or translate text.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every Feemag tool is free, with no sign-up, no watermarks added by us and no daily limits.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your files are processed by your own browser on your device and never uploaded to a server. Processing speed depends on your device and file size.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes: in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox) on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and Linux.
