How to make a PowerPoint presentation

  1. 1. Add objects

Use Text, Shape, Image, Chart or Table. Drag to move, and use the corner handles to resize.

  2. 2. Choose a theme

Apply a theme to the whole deck, or only to the current slide. Colors you set by hand stay put.

  3. 3. Download

Download PPTX for an editable file. PDF and PNG are pictures of the slides.

What the PowerPoint file contains

Text, shapes, embedded pictures, tables, and column, bar, line, pie and doughnut charts. Speaker notes and a fade, push or wipe transition are included when you set them. There is no watermark.

What this page does not open

It does not import an arbitrary existing deck. For a best-effort read of text, simple shapes and pictures, use View PPTX. An outline can be pasted in Outline to slides and then opened here.

Questions & answers

Does this replace PowerPoint?

No. It builds an editable .pptx you can keep editing in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides. Text stays text, shapes stay shapes, pictures stay pictures, and tables and supported charts stay native charts.

Can it open a deck I already have?

This editor does not open an arbitrary PowerPoint file. Use View PPTX or the other presentation tools for a best-effort read of text, simple shapes and pictures. Masters, macros, SmartArt and advanced animation are not reconstructed.

Are charts and PDF pages editable?

Column, bar, line, pie and doughnut charts, and tables, are written as real PowerPoint objects. PDF and PNG downloads are pictures of the slides, so the PDF text is not selectable. That is what keeps Urdu and Arabic visible.

Where is my deck saved?

In this browser, on this device, until you clear site data. A recent list is kept with the pictures. Nothing is uploaded. Download the PowerPoint file to keep a copy.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every Feemag tool is free, with no sign-up, no watermarks added by us and no daily limits.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your files are processed by your own browser on your device and never uploaded to a server. Processing speed depends on your device and file size.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes: in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox) on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and Linux.
