Supported languages

Added labels support English letters, numbers, punctuation and many Western European characters, including common French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese accents. The built-in font does not support all Latin characters or Urdu, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese labels. Unsupported labels are rejected.
How to use bates numbering
1. Choose the document set
Select up to 20 PDFs together and check their displayed order. The sequence continues through the whole set.
2. Set the label sequence
Enter a prefix and suffix if needed. Choose the starting number and minimum number of digits, for example CASE-000001.
3. Number and inspect
Select Process PDF. Download one PDF or a ZIP, then check that the bottom-right labels do not cover existing content.

Privacy and practical limits
Files stay on your device. Each input must be under 150 MB. Processing speed and memory use depend on your device. Keep original documents; PDF transformations do not preserve digital-signature validity.

How are Bates numbers different from ordinary page numbers?
A Bates label combines a sequential number with an optional prefix and suffix. The sequence can continue across several files in a document set.
Can numbering continue across multiple PDFs?
Yes. Choose up to 20 files together. Numbering follows the displayed file order and continues from the last page of each document.
Where are the labels placed?
Labels appear at the bottom right of the displayed page, including rotated pages. Check that they do not cover existing content.
