preserves existing saved field appearances in any language. It does not translate or create missing character glyphs. Forms with missing saved appearances must be saved by a PDF form editor first.
How to use flatten pdf forms
1. Open a filled form
Choose a standard AcroForm PDF saved with its filled field appearances. XFA forms are not supported.
2. Flatten saved appearances
Select Process PDF to place the saved field appearances into page content and remove interactive fields.
3. Check filled values
Download the new PDF and inspect every filled value. Flattening does not prevent further editing by PDF software.
What this tool preserves
Supports AcroForms, not XFA. Does not flatten all annotations or prevent editing.
Privacy and practical limits
Files stay on your device. Each input must be under 150 MB. Processing speed and memory use depend on your device. Keep original documents; PDF transformations do not preserve digital-signature validity.

Questions & answers
Does flattening make a PDF impossible to edit?
No. It converts fillable form fields into page content. A PDF editor can still modify that content. This is not password protection.
Does this flatten all annotations?
No. It flattens standard AcroForm fields, using their saved appearances. Other annotations and XFA forms are outside this tool’s scope.
Will filled-in values remain visible?
Saved field appearances are placed on the page. Open the result to check them. If the form has missing appearances, save it in a PDF form editor before flattening.
Which languages are supported?
Language support: preserves existing saved field appearances in any language. It does not translate or create missing character glyphs. Forms with missing saved appearances must be saved by a PDF form editor first.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every Feemag tool is free, with no sign-up, no watermarks added by us and no daily limits.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are processed by your own browser on your device and never uploaded to a server. Processing speed depends on your device and file size.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes: in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox) on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and Linux.
