How to use pdf to word

  1. 1. Choose your PDF

Open one PDF with up to 100 pages. Keep the original for checking.

  2. 2. Choose text extraction or OCR

Use text mode for selectable text. For scans, select OCR and a supported document language.

  3. 3. Download and review the DOCX

Open the Word document and edit its paragraphs. Check names, numbers and reading order against the original. This is text conversion, not layout reconstruction.

What this tool preserves

Editable text and page breaks only. Images, tables, columns, fonts and exact layout are not reconstructed. Review reading order and OCR errors.

Privacy and practical limits

Files stay on your device. Each input must be under 150 MB. Processing speed and memory use depend on your device. Keep original documents; PDF transformations do not preserve digital-signature validity.

Questions & answers

Does it preserve the PDF layout?

No. This converter exports editable text paragraphs and source page breaks. It does not recreate tables, columns, images, fonts, forms or links.

Can scanned PDFs become editable Word files?

Yes. Choose Scanned PDF and a supported OCR language. Recognition runs in the browser; review the text for mistakes.

Why does text mode stop on image-only pages?

It avoids silently dropping scanned content. Choose OCR for the whole document, or remove genuinely blank pages first.

Are files sent to a conversion server?

No. PDF text extraction, OCR and DOCX creation run locally. OCR model files download on first use.
