Questions & answers

What angles can automatic deskew correct?

Automatic correction searches from -5 to +5 degrees. For a different small tilt, use a manual angle between -10 and +10 degrees. Use Rotate PDF for sideways pages.

Does deskew preserve selectable text?

No. This tool exports new image-only pages at up to 144 DPI. Text selection, links, form fields and signature validity are not preserved. Run OCR afterward if you need searchable text.

Why might automatic deskew leave a page unchanged?

Blank pages, sparse text, graphics or unclear line direction may not provide a reliable angle. Inspect the output and use the manual angle when needed.

Which languages are supported?

Language support: processes page images regardless of language, without recognizing or translating text. Automatic correction works best on pages with horizontal text lines. Vertical text, graphics or sparse pages may need a manual angle.
